How to Love the Christ

To love someone, you have to really know them first.

He never wrote of Himself, but reading what others had to say about Him reveals who He is. In the bible writings we see how friends saw Him as well as how He treated them; we see how His haters/enemies saw Him and treated Him. His reactions and responses tell us Who He really is. You know “by their actions you can tell who people are”.

Another powerful way to see into the Christ is what He did because of His love for His Father. You can tell who a person really is by the way he/she speaks and treats his/her loved ones, his/her family. As individuals, we watch closely anyone who wants to attach themselves to us, how the interact with their family members. We ask the why to what we see. This reveals who that person really is behind the scenes.

The most powerful way to see Who Christ is is listening to the person He entrusted to watch over, and lead us to Him—the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit. The purpose of the sent one is to lead and guide us unto all truth—and Truth is Christ; John 14:6 “… I am the way, the truth, and the life…”
